For a nice break from the city and the Sydney heat there's the Blue Mountains... The blue haze (that apparently doesn't appear because of the eucalyptus trees, contrary to popular belief) was hanging in the air and a few of us decided to take a very steep gerbil cage on a track down to the valley floor! A lovely walk and a great little getaway, but obviously quite a touristy thing to do!
A couple of us got a room at Wentworth Falls to relax and enjoy the gorgeous countryside for a bit longer.
