This year's harbour party may not have been the sell-out success of previous years, but at least the rain held off and the sun came out to party with us!
The music started out funky and a bit vocal and moved towards the harder edge as the night went on... which seemed to be the theme for most of Mardi Gras 2009 as it happens... some vocal house, then the music getting quite hard and banging.
Sam Sparro (who didn't look quite like we remembered him... cough!) started his set on the stairs with his entourage and moved on to the stage, where Peyton also performed a live set which went down well with the crowds
