One of the hottest tickets of the Mardi Gras weekend was Homesexual's Amazon themed party at Home nightclub. The three floored venue provided a labyrinth of partying, with tonight's decor helping transform the place into a rainforest paradise. Plenty of punters had turned out in theme, although on the whole the very high humidity meant that most people had stripped down to very little once the party got underway.

The sticky weather, however, had it's upside... with some of the dance spaces and bars glass fronted, dancing to a funked up mix of 'here comes the rain again', as one of Sydney's most ferocious electric storms raged above the harbour was nothing short of breathtaking. I've got a tingle down my spine just thinking about it. Although that could just be a bit of sciatica from having been on the dancefloor for nearly 12 hours at this 9pm to 9am party.

Dancing through the sunrise over Darling Harbour... priceless.

Our highlights of the night... DJ Feisty's set in The Box had us glued to the dancefloor for at least an hour, DJ Paulo in the main arena went down a treat and the fabulous, hardworking Shigeki who, on three hours sleep all Mardi Gras weekend, managed to pull off a storming set. Even Michael Barrymoor seemed to be enjoying himself!

Photos from tonight's party are sparse... my camera wasn't happy with the heat, and, if I'm honest, I was having far too good a time to be thinking about taking pics. But there'll be more, I'm sure.

Fabulous venue, fabulous party... can't want to get back here again soon.
