Sliding into the weekend...
review
For a spot of uber smart, sophisticated clubbing where you're liable to find yourself amongst men baring beefed up breasts and sexy sixpacks then Slide's where it's at.
The venue is a completely refurbished Art Deco bank building and is packed with techno tricks to make it undoubtedly one of the coolest clubbing venues on the street.
You arrive to a red carpet marked with tiki torches leading you through big bronze doors into the main room. The bar-cum-club is split onto two levels, with a glass sided balcony area for some talent spotting, a packed main floor for some grooving and mingling and a gorgeous uplit dancefloor if you want to make sure everyone sees your best moves.
There are two decent sized bars - with the balcony bar often being less packed. Waiting time was at around 20 minutes even when the venue must have been somewhere near capacity.
