review
Queer sometimes feels like it's running in a gear above the rest, with sexy dancers and live DJs keeping the tunes a thumpin' and a young crowd buzzin' til 2am.
Rhoda Horse was stationed at the door to welcome us and ushered us in from the cold in a way only she could.
It was packed tonight, but the attractive bar team kept on top of things as always, efficiently serving everyone and even managing to look like they were enjoying themselves too!
Split across a number of levels and quite distinct areas, Queer has space you can sit, space you can stand and space you can dance, as well as spots from which to survey the talent - ideal, if you ask me!
The only queer thing about Queer, was meeting a man who looked a lot like me in a mirror. Bill introduced us. I remember he asked me to change my ways, but I didn't like him much so we didn't talk for long.
