Look. I know you don't really want to hear about what we're up to on the other side of the globe... but listen... surely it's better this way than Glyn sending out his now infamous emails detailing what time we'll be at what club and how many weetabix we had for breakfast?
At least this way you can take it or leave it. I mean, we're not FORCING you to look at the photos are we. And I refuse to feel guilty about publicising our trip. I somehow doubt I'll be taking another holiday for a long, long time. I'm also expecting the bank to have reposessed the house by the time I get home...

Blurry Dykes on Bikes!
photos by Sam Milford
So we set up three hours before the parade, Champagne flowing and much merryment. And of course by the time the parade actually starts we're completely slaughtered and can't remember anything about it. These photos don't help much, either!

Sydney Harbour Party
photos by Sam Milford
For all the hours, days and months that we've been preparing ourselves for it... it has left me speechless. Just breathtaking. I spent half of the night just standing, staring at the scene as dusk set in and the city lit up behind what has to be the most talked about party in the world. And not undeservedly so.

The Greyhound, Melbourne
photos by Sam Milford
Well, we'd heard lots about it, and it lived up to the hype. The Greyhound was absolutely packed. A great laugh was had. Then on to the... oh... the Market, was it? Or was that the night before... Ohhhh. I'm so rubbish. Someone help please!

Neighbours!
photos by Sam Milford
If Melbourne's most famous export is Kylie, then Melbourne's most famous street is... well... I can't remember the name of it actually. But you'll recognise it as Ramsey Street.

Melbourne Clubbing
photos by Sam Milford
Glyn... Glyn! Help! I've forgotten the name of this club. It was good though. We had a laugh. And we managed to get REALBrighton up on the net as well... was great to catch up with everything going on back home! Now I know what other ex-pats mean!

First stop... Auckland
photos by Sam Milford
Auckland, NZ. Well... It's 6 in the morning and I'm wide awake, so while Glyn's upstairs finishing off his beauty sleep (he could be some time yet) I thought I'd post a few pictures from the first leg of our journey...
