The Terrence Higgins Trust has just launched a new website called ‘Hardcell’ www.hardcell.org.uk aimed squarely at over 18 year old gay men interested in rough sex, S&M and other harder edged sexual practices. The site offers facts about sexual health and recreational drug use alongside information about sex acts and rough sex.
This is the first time a sexual health organisation has produced such a comprehensive website aimed at men interested in the rough sex scene. The site has a Playroom dealing with subjects including barebacking, branding, piercing, tattooing, bondage, breath control, felching, sex toys and watersports whilst The Lab looks at drug useage as well as the problems you can have with drugs.
The Lab provides honest information on substances including acid, cannabis, cocaine, crystal, meth, GHB, ketamine as well as alcohol. You can visit The Clinic for sexually transmitted infections information including causes, symptoms, treatments and prevention as well as information on condoms and lube, sex codes, colours and kinky sex downsides.
Finally The Power Room says how it is regarding sexual assault, personal safety, how to avoid trouble and the support you can except from the law. Hard Cell will also provide information for men living with HIV.
Will Nutland, Strategic Lead for Health Promotion and Health Improvement at Terrence Higgins Trust said, "When we were researching the site we found that men had questions about specific sex scenes but they didn't know where to get reliable information. The website provides up-front information right through from bondage and branding to tit torture and watersports. The site not only focuses on the pleasures of hard sex - it looks at the risks of mixing different types of drugs during sex, avoiding trouble during harder sex, and gives information on where the law currently stands on S&M sex. Hard Cell has been designed for sex pigs, kinky men, men into S&M and men who are curious about harder sex."
