Sydney may have Mardi Gras, but Brisbane's Big Gay Day is still well worth a visit. A street party that has gone from strength to strength over the last few years and now attracts well over 6,000 people.

Hosted by the Wickham Hotel, the event has landed plenty of quality acts for the main stage and takes over the streets for a weekend of partying! Wristband entry ensures that some money goes to good causes as well as effectively policing the area to make sure there are no crushes down at the front!
