Sydney Mardi Gras is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the annual Pride calendar!

Hosting some of the biggest parties on the planet with, on occasion, up to 30,000 people attending the huge post-parade party.

The event spans a few weeks towards the end of the Ozzy summer in February and March and not surprisingly attracts a global following. It's good... it's very, very good. And if you can stomach the carbon footprint then it's well worth the trip!

Highlights for the Real City team include the fabulous Harbour Party, the scantily-clad boys at the Pool Party, the parade (obviously!), the massive Mardi Gras party and, if there's any energy left, the many other dance parties put on over the festive period.
